Opening a Second Aviation High School Location at Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD)
Located less than 10 miles southwest of downtown Dallas, Dallas Executive Airport boasts over 1000 acres of land within minutes of the Dallas business district, top-rated hotels and restaurants, world-class sports venues, museums, busy shopping centers, and the largest urban arts district in the nation.
For Rising Aviation High School, the decision to open a second location at Dallas Executive Airport was based upon the excellent location, onsite proximity to aviation businesses and professionals, and the availability for growth and expansion. Incredibly, the airport features 480 acres of developable land, more than any other regional general aviation airport.
Dallas Executive Airport is experiencing such tremendous growth, that the airport recently invested in a three-year runway reconstruction plan designed to serve the onsite businesses and to accommodate the projected incredible growth. The expansion featured two concrete runways slated for improvements. The reconstructed runway system supports and services long-range corporate jets and encourages more frequent daily traffic.
Keep an eye out for rapid growth, new business openings, and amazing opportunities for KRBD. This type of explosive growth mirrors the explosive growth of the aviation industry all around the US.
